Welcome to Jelly Book Club, a trading name of Visual Binary Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website www.jellybookclub.com, our subscription service, and our companion mobile application (collectively, the “Service”).

By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Eligibility

Our Service is intended exclusively for parents or legal guardians of children aged 5 to 11+. Only adults aged 18 or over may create an account and subscribe. By using our Service, you represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement and that you are the parent or guardian of any child using the companion app.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.

  • By subscribing, you agree to pay the monthly fee in advance for each billing cycle.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

  • No refunds are issued for partially used billing periods.

  • Subscribers will receive one physical book per month, provided the subscription is active at the time the monthly shipment is processed.

3. Shipping

  • Physical books are shipped towards the end of each calendar month.

  • We are not responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by third-party postal services or incomplete/incorrect shipping information provided by the user.

4. Companion App

  • The companion app is optional and allows users to access interactive features and additional content related to their monthly book.

  • If a child under the age of 13 is using the app, a parent or guardian must be present and supervise their usage.

  • We reserve the right to limit or revoke app access at our discretion, including but not limited to abuse, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

  • Features may change, be restricted, or removed at any time.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and any activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided via the website, subscription, or app (including text, images, branding, and interactive materials) is the property of Visual Binary Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit this content without our express written consent.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Use the Service in any way that breaches any applicable laws or regulations;

  • Share inappropriate or offensive content via the app;

  • Interfere with the security or proper working of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Visual Binary Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including delays or missed deliveries.

9. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are made will signify your acceptance of those changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12. Money-Back Guarantee

From time to time, we may offer a promotional money-back guarantee to new customers. If such an offer is active at the time of your sign-up, you will be eligible to request a refund under the following conditions:

  • You must contact us at team@jellybookclub.com within 30 days of receiving your first book.

  • You must state that you are not satisfied with the service and would like to claim your refund.

  • Refunds are limited to the amount paid for your first month’s subscription, including any applicable shipping charges.

  • Only one refund is permitted per household or account.

  • We reserve the right to verify eligibility and deny refund requests that fall outside these terms or appear fraudulent.

If no money-back offer is running at the time of your sign-up, this clause will not apply.
